ABOUT CURRENCY & CONFIDENCE
Currency & Confidence – A Collective Youth Empowerment Program is a 3-month after school program designed for high school students aged 14-19. Our mission is to empower youth with essential skills to thrive in life by combining financial literacy education and confidence and self development activities in a unique and impactful way.
THE COLLECTIVE
The collective includes two powerful programs cohesively woven together to bring an experience that produces results.
Our innovative program is designed to bridge gaps in financial literacy and personal development, helping students build confidence and prepare for a brighter future. By focusing on both mind and body, we provide a holistic experience that empowers youth to excel in all areas of their lives.
Money Mindfulness
Money Mindfulness is a financial literacy program that enlightens us of the powerful truth about money. Many of us spend our whole existence trying to gain wealth and financial freedom but lack the tools and the knowledge to obtain it. This program was created as an early education project- based learning program into financial literacy, which goal is to educate the youth, empower their voices and prepare them for financial success.
Shades of Balance
Shades of Balance is a comprehensive program designed to empower youth through a holistic approach that integrates group coaching, dance, and personalized assignments. The goal is to foster self-discovery, confidence, and personal growth by harmonizing the mind and body within a supportive and dynamic environment. We firmly believe that true transformation begins from within, connecting the mind and body in a harmonious journey of self-discovery and growth.
95 (%) of students successfully improved their financial literacy comprehension and self-confidence (main objective).
98 (%) of students indicated that they are highly likely to recommend the program to a friend.
100 (%) of students who attended the program shared stories and anecdotal data of positive progress towards the long-term outcomes.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
The program includes 4.5- hour weekly sessions led by licensed financial specialist, experienced life coaches and professional dance instructors. Each lesson includes the real life experience with professional guidance to aid the students is learning the key concepts.
The program includes comprehensive workbooks, guides and interactive assignments to enhance learning and personal growth. Student will engaged in projects that reflect real life situations and tasked to apply solutions based on what they have learned throughout the program.
The program includes a supportive, culturally responsive environment that reflects diverse and successful career paths. Students will be provided with mentorship to support their needs and growth. The program also provides mentorship, finance consulting and resources to families of the students to further support their growth a home.
